Cancellation Policy

1. DEPOSIT FEE AND PAYMENT. The Client shall make a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total amount of the service to confirm the booking and validate this contract. Upon payment, the Photographer shall reserve the time and date agreed upon by both parties. The remaining amount shall be paid directly after the session. Payment methods accepted are Swish or Invoice. 1.1. In the event of changing location, a traveling fee may apply or be deducted from the remaining amount. 2. CANCELLATION. The Photographer shall not refund the deposit fee in case The Client requests to cancel the appointment. If The Client fails to show up for the photo session, or requests to cancel within 36 hours prior to the session, an invoice with the remaining amount be sent. 3. RESCHEDULING. If the Client wishes to reschedule a session, the request should be made up to 36 hours before the photo session and rebooked within 3 months from the original event. Rescheduling requests within less than 36 hours prior to the photo session shall not be granted, and the full amount shall be charged. 3.1. RESCHEDULING NEWBORN PHOTO SESSION. The restriction above does not apply in the case of unexpectedly longer hospital stays. In this case, the rescheduling of a newborn photo session shall be decided promptly, and the photo session shall be done before the baby completes 1 month of age. If it is not possible to reschedule the session before the baby turns 1 month, the photoshoot shall automatically become a Family Photo Session. 4. LATE ARRIVALS. If the Client arrives more than 15 minutes late to the photo session, the Photographer shall deduct this time from the time allotted for the session. 5. RESPONSABILITY AND LIABILITY. The Client is solely responsible and liable for the sibling(s) well-being, safety, and cooperation during the photo session, disrespectfully whether the session is in the studio or outdoors. This includes measures to avoid the sibling(s) intruding on the baby’s immediate area, or even causing any damage to the studio. 6. PHOTOGRAPHIC MATERIALS’ RIGHTS. All photographic materials shall be the exclusive property and rights of the Photographer. 7. SERVICE SUPPLY AND DELIMITATIONS. The Photographer shall make available gallery proofs through an online website, which shall be available within 2 weeks after the session. The Client has 60 days from delivery, extendable to another 30 days, to choose which photos shall be delivered and edited by the Photographer. If after 60 days, or in case of an extended period of 90 days, the Client has not chosen the photos, the Photographer shall choose and deliver 20 edited photos to the Client, and the Photographer’s service shall be deemed as rendered. 7.1. The Photographer shall keep internally saved all images displayed on the gallery-proof website for no longer than one year from the photo session date. 7.2 The Photographer does not deliver or sell raw images. 7.3 The client does NOT have the right to save, download, print-screen, or share any image from the proof gallery. The Client may only save, download and share images once he/she receives the final edited gallery with the images that were purchased in the photography package. 8. FAILURE TO PERFORM. If the Photographer is unable to perform the services set out in this agreement due to illness, emergency, casualty, strike, or causes beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer and the Client shall attempt to reschedule the session. If a rescheduled date is not possible due to the Photographer’s unavailability, then the Photographer shall fully refund the deposit fee to the Client. 9. CLIENT REGRET. The Photographer does not offer to re-shoot sessions based on the Client's regret over wardrobe and location choice, makeup, etc., nor shall the Photographer refund any amount paid for the photo session. 10. IMAGE USE RIGHTS. The client GRANTS the photographer full image use rights over all images of the photo session, the object of this contract. This means that the Client agrees that the Photographer displays his/her/their image(s) on social media, websites, workshops, and other platforms and events, in which the Photographer exercises or displays her profession.
